Mountain Art

The past weeks in Te Maunga we have been doing collages. We got an A4 piece of paper for our planning. Then we were given magazines and we had to cut out the colour we needed. In the process of making it I learnt that you have to cut the pieces really tiny to stick them on. We read a book called Battle of the Mountains. We read the book because our class is Te Maunga.

Kindness Letter

In Te Maunga we have been doing kindness letters to give to people who were alone in lockdown. In my kindness letter we had to put a funny story or a positive message. I did a funny story. My funny story is when I was riding my cousin Tamati’s bike. Only one of his brakes worked and I had my ice block in my hand on the brake that didn’t work. I went down the hill and went up in the hammock and it saved me from going into my neighbours property.

Viruses, Fungi And Bacteria

In Te Maunga we have been learning about fungi, bacteria and viruses. Types of Viruses are Coronavirus, Flu and Chickenpox.  Types of Fungi Are Mushroom, Athlete's foot, Ringworms. Types of Bacteria are Protozoa, Runny nose, Sneezing.
